Apple, Microsoft and Adobe give reasons for higher prices in Australia
It's a well known fact that Australians pay more for technology than Americans. In some cases products are over twice as expensive for Australian consumers than for their US counterparts. It's something everyone is aware of, we just can't do anything about it. However, a step in the right direction was taken this week as senior executives from Apple, Microsoft and Adobe were forced to explain their overpricing to a parliamentary committee. I doubt any Australian would feel satisfied with the reasons given though and we'll hopefully see further action taken on this matter.
