Microsoft has filed a complaint in an attempt to gain control of the domain names Xboxone.com and Xboxone.net. The two domains are seemingly owned by the same person and although they were registered over 18 months ago they're both blank pages.
This seems like the work of a so-called 'cybersquatter', a person who registers a domain name (xboxone.com) in the hopes of selling it back to a company interested in owning it (Microsoft). Rather than give in to this type of internet blackmail, Microsoft has decided to take matters to the National Arbitration Forum in the hope of acquiring the domains.
